UV adhesives

UV adhesives polymerize quickly when exposed to an ultraviolet source, if at least one of the two parts to be glued is permeable to light: they can glue glass and transparent plastics to each other or to different supports such as metal, wood or other materials. They are used in the field of objects and furnishings where the aesthetic aspect is important, in the assembly of medical components, they are suitable for the coating of small details or even for sealing. They generate a very tough plastic film, allowing clean, perfectly transparent and non-yellowing joints. For industrial applications, various ultraviolet radiation lamps such as mercury vapor lamps and LED lamps are available. They can be certified for use on medical components in contact with the human body (syringe needles, biomedical components, etc.).
