Versatile, first-choice geometry for medium machining of steels and superalloys, with continuous or slightly interrupted cuts, also suitable for stainless steels and cast irons, conditionally for non-ferrous alloys and hard materials; characterized by a slightly positive rake angle and a stable and moderate positive T-land, with a rounded cutting edge with bevel. Extremely versatile PVD grade T8430with high operational reliability and very good friction characteristics; suitable for medium-low cutting speeds. Main application ISO class P15-P35, M10-M30, secondary K15-K35, N20, S, H.
